“Overall the score was not as high as we wanted, yet I feel we are making strides in the right direction,” UK head coach Harry Mullins said. “We are still working out our slings to pick up a few more points but I feel that the team is moving in the right direction.
Hanna Carr shot 587 to win smallbore. Heather Kirby won air rifle with a 594.
“Congratulations today to Hanna for winning smallbore and Heather for winning air rifle,” Mullins said. “I feel that if we stay focused on what we need to do these next few week we will bring our numbers back up to where we want them.

“In regards to qualifying for NCAAs now we have to wait and see where it all shakes out. I feel we had a good body of work during the regular season that will help us reach the final eight.”
