Kentucky placed four players in double figures, as the 16th-ranked Wildcats beat No. 14 Mississippi State 83-60 on Thursday night in Starkville.
Freshman Maci Morris led Kentucky with 17 points, while junior Makayla Epps scored 16 points for Kentucky, which won on the road for the second straight time to move to 18-6 overall and 7-6 in the SEC.
Kentucky jumped out to a 13-3 lead in the first quarter before settling for a 20-14 lead at the end of the first stanza. Mississippi State rallied in the second quarter, cutting the lead to two before Kentucky stretched the lead to seven at the half, 37-30.
The Wildcats assembled an 11-0 run in the third quarter to stretch the lead to 54-35 with 1:40 left in the third quarter. 
In the final period, Kentucky led by as many as 27 (80-53 with 2:09 left) before settling for a 23-point win.
Freshman Taylor Murray had 13 points, one off of her career high, and Alexis Jennings had 12 points for Kentucky.
Kentucky dominated the boards, grabbing 49 rebounds compared with just 34 for MSU. 
Breanna Richardson led Mississippi State (21-6, 8-5) with 13 points.
Kentucky returns to action on Sunday, facing Arkansas at Memorial Coliseum. That game is slated to tip at 3 p.m. and can be seen on the SEC Network.
