Kentucky Contingent to Compete at OSU Winter Invite

LEXINGTON, Ky. – With the start of the 2016 Southeastern Conference Championships just four days away, Kentucky’s swimming and diving team will close out the regular season by sending a group of swimmers to compete in the annual Ohio State University Winter Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
The meet will be a two-day event, with athletes from Ball State, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), Ohio, No. 18 (women) Purdue and Wright State in addition to host No. 15/25 (men/women) Ohio State. Prelims on Saturday, Feb. 13, will include the 500 free, 100 fly, 100 breast, 100 back, 400 IM and 100 free beginning at 11 a.m. ET. Finals for the day, starting at 4 p.m., will also include the 200 medley and 200 free relays. On Sunday, Feb. 14, prelims for the 200 free, 200 back, 200 breast, 50 free, 200 fly and 200 IM will start at 11 a.m., followed by a mid-day session of the 1650 free. Finals will begin at 4 p.m., with the 400 medley and 400 free relays added.
Live results for the meet can be found here, and fans who wish to attend are invited to park in the Neil Avenue Garage directly adjacent to McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion for an event rate of $5.
