?    UK avenged its earlier loss in the season to Auburn with a 54-47 victory inside Memorial Coliseum.

?    With the win, UK moves to 14-2 on the season, and 3-2 in Southeastern Conference play.

?    The meeting was the 46th between the two programs in the all-time series, with the victory advancing UK to 20-26 against the Tigers.

?    Matthew Mitchell is in his ninth season with Kentucky and the loss moves him to 238-112 overall, including a 208-83 record while at Kentucky.

?    UK played in front of 6,171 fans, which is the largest crowd inside Memorial Coliseum this season.

 

?    The 54 points marked a season-low in points scored for the Wildcats, dipping below 60 points for the first time this season.  The previous season low was 61 points in the last meeting with Auburn on Jan. 3.  

?    UK was 17-of-47 from the field for a .362 clip, the lowest shooting percentage of the season, while holding Auburn to 35.2% on 19-of-54 shooting. 

?    The Wildcats recorded 10 steals and forced the Tigers into an additional 11 miscues for a total of 21 turnovers. 

?    Auburn outrebounded the Wildcats, 33-32, and had the advantage in second chance points, 11-9.

?    Kentucky held the edge in points in the paint, 26-18, and bench points, 20-16.

?    Kentucky scored a SEC season-low 11 points in the first period to lead, 11-10.  UK also scored 11 points in the earlier meeting with Auburn.

?    The 10 points by UK in the second period marked a new SEC season low.  

?    Auburn took the lead before the half, holding on to a 22-21 advantage going into the break. It marked the first time in the SEC season that UK has been trailing heading into the half.

?    Kentucky shot 30.4% from the field in the first half, which is the lowest shooting percentage in a half in conference play.  

?    The largest lead for the Wildcats was 10 points, first achieved with a 47-37 advantage with 5:38 to play in the fourth period. 

 

?    Taylor Murray scored a career-high 14 points to lead the Wildcats, also nabbing a career-best six steals and posting a flawless performance from 3-point range with two triples on as many attempts.

?    Evelyn Akhator recorded the seventh double-double of her career with 12 points and 10 rebounds to go with a steal and an assist. Her seven double-doubles are a team-best. Akhator has scored in double figures 12 times this season and has had double-figure rebounds eight times. 

?    Makayla Epps added 12 points and five rebounds, along with two assists and one steal. Epps has scored in double figures in 14 games this season.
