Meet … Jordan Chael | Zoe Collins | Cylia Damerau | Anna Hack

LEXINGTON, Ky. – In preparation for the Kentucky women’s golf team’s return to the course in late January for the all-important spring season, UKathletics.com will be featuring a profile on each of the Wildcats in the “Meet the Wildcats” series. The weekly series is an opportunity to get to know a little more about the 2015-16 Kentucky women’s golf team.
The series continues this week with senior Sarah Harris.
Harris is one of the most decorated golfers of the Golda Johansson Borst era both on and off the course. A three-time Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll member as well as a three-time Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team member, Harris has recorded two top-10 finishes in her career and five top-20 finishes. She’s finished third or better on the team in stroke average in each of her three seasons at Kentucky.
In 2013, she became the first player in program history to be named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
Before college, Harris was a two-time Tennessee Junior Tour Player of the Year. She led Donelson Christian Academy to a Division 2A State Championship as a sophomore, was a member of the Tennessean’s All Mid-State Team in 2009 and 2010, and finished her high school career with seven American Junior Golf Association top-10 finishes and three top-five finishes.
Harris did not compete in the fall due to injury.
