KY Beef Council Presents The Matthew Mitchell Show

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The ninth season of “The Matthew Mitchell Show” presented by the KY Beef Council, the unique and official Kentucky women’s basketball coach’s television show, is set to begin Sunday, Dec. 6 at 12:30 p.m. ET on the CW in Lexington, Ky., and online at ukathletics.com. 

The show will air on Sunday afternoons on the CW in Lexington and be available online all season at ukathletics.com.  

Along with co-host Christi Thomas, a sports anchor from WKYT, Coach Mitchell recaps the latest Wildcats’ games and hosts the popular segments 30-Second Shot Clock, Guitar Tip of the Week, Coach’s Tip of the Week and Coach’s Kitchen. A new segment will be unveiled this season called Behind the Blue with Janee, as senior journalism major Janee Thompson will go behind the scenes to give fans a unique perspective on the Kentucky women’s basketball program.
