Getting to Know Your Wildcats: Meet Brooke Morgan

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Brooke Morgan, a freshman right side hitter from Dike, Iowa, is the final player to be featured in our “Getting to Know Your Wildcats” series.
Morgan will return home tonight at the Northern Iowa tournament as she hails from just outside Cedar Falls. The freshman right side hitter has started three matches for the Wildcats this season, and currently averages 1.93 kills per set on a .235 hitting clip. She was considered the No. 12 player in her class from PrepVolleyball.com. She was a four-time state champion and twice tabbed an All-State selection. An all-around athlete, she also garnered all-conference accolades as a standout basketball player and track athlete.

Kentucky’s Memorial Coliseum will play host to the NCAA Regionals Dec. 11-12. UK is one of four sites selected for the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight matchups with one team advancing to the Final Four in Omaha, Neb., from the Lexington Region. This marks the third time in five seasons Memorial Coliseum will host this premier volleyball event.
