Getting to Know Your Wildcats: Meet Anna Nyberg

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Anna Nyberg, a freshman outside hitter from Tomahawk, Wis., is the 11th player to be featured in our “Getting to Know Your Wildcats” series.
Nyberg made her collegiate debut in UK’s 3-0 win over Little Rock on Saturday. A four-year letterwinner for Tomahawk High School, she owns school records in career kills after eclipsing the 2,000-kill mark as a senior. She helped the Hatchets advance to the Division 2 Final Four in three seasons, including championship match appearances in 2011 and 2014. Nyberg was a first-team All-State selection as a senior and was also tabbed the GNC Player of the Year.
Now it’s time to get to know Anna a little bit better …
