'The Coach Stoops Call-In Radio Show with Live Stream Presented by Paul Miller Ford' Begins Monday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky head football coach Mark Stoops will begin his weekly call-in show Monday night from 6 p.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET.

“The Coach Stoops Call-In Show with Live Stream presented by Paul Miller Ford” is hosted by UK football and men’s basketball play-by-play man Tom Leach. Fans will have the opportunity to ask Coach Stoops via Twitter at @UKRadioNetwork or by calling 1-800-606-GAME (4263) or 859-280-2287.

The show is broadcast in Lexington on WLAP-630, online at UKathletics.com and the UK Radio Network affiliates. The live video stream will be available on UKAthletics.com.

Big Blue Weekly, a call-in show where fans can interact with Olympic sports coaches hosted by Neil Price, will air following the Coach Stoops Call-In Show from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET and will feature two Olympic sports coaches each week.

The UK Radio Network also will be expanding its game day coverage this season, starting two hours prior to kickoff.  Christi Thomas and former UK quarterback Freddie Maggard will join Leach and Jeff Piecoro and the rest of the broadcast team as they host the newly added “Countdown to Kickoff” that will air in the first 30 minutes of the show located outside of the Nutter Fieldhouse. From Cat Talk to the Cat Walk, they will focus on the X’s and O’s of the game and bring a little fun to the pre-game show.
