Blue-White Scrimmage Set for Aug. 23 at 3 p.m.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Fans will get their first chance to watch the Kentucky volleyball team on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. ET when the team hosts its annual Blue-White scrimmage in Memorial Coliseum. Admission to the event is free, and doors open at 2 p.m.

The annual intrasquad scrimmage comes five days before the Wildcats open the 2015 season. UK hosts Michigan State Aug. 28 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the four-team Bluegrass Battle.

Additionally, single match tickets for the 2015 season went on sale today. Reserved tickets are $5 each, while general admission single match tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors (65+) and youth (6-18). Children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge in general admission seating.

Season tickets for the 2015 season are also on sale now and begin at $35. More information on how to buy season tickets can be found here, while fans can purchase season or single match tickets by calling the UK Ticket Office at 800-928-CATS.

The 2015 campaign marks Craig Skinner’s 11th season as head coach of Kentucky. The Wildcats are coming off a school-record 10th consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and finished second in the SEC in 2014.
