TicketExchange Available for the 2015 Football Season

LEXINGTON, Ky. – This season, Kentucky football fans will be able to buy and sell single-game tickets for games at Commonwealth Stadium using TicketExchange by Ticketmaster, the official online fan-to-fan marketplace of Big Blue Nation.

With the launch of TicketExchange, Kentucky has partnered with Ticketmaster to bring fans the only safe and secure fan-to-fan marketplace authorized by UK Athletics. TicketExchange is completely integrated with Kentucky’s Ticketmaster software and uses barcode verification technology to ensure the authenticity of tickets. As the only official fan-to-fan marketplace, TicketExchange provides fans with reliable and convenient access to purchase tickets for games and sections that otherwise may be sold out.

Ticket holders will be able to post and sell tickets at face value or above through TicketExchange, using various pricing options. Season ticket holders who are unable to attend all games are encouraged to sell tickets only through TicketExchange, in order to maximize return on their investment while complying with all state, local and team regulations regarding the sale of tickets.

To sell tickets, season ticket holders should log directly into their My UK Account and use the Manage My Tickets module, while all other ticket holders should visit UKathletics.com/TicketExchange to post their tickets by entering barcode numbers.

First-time users will be prompted to set up a TicketExchange account, and you may then set your ticket price (face value or above) and listing expiration date. An automatic email notification system will send updates on your listing status and you can post and remove your tickets at any time.

If your tickets are sold, you will receive prompt payment from TicketExchange in the form of direct deposit. The buyer will receive tickets with new unique barcodes via electronic delivery. We protect your privacy, and you will never be contacted directly by a buyer. Once sold, your original tickets will immediately become void and will not be accepted for entry at Commonwealth Stadium.

In addition to purchasing tickets via TicketExchange, fans may also buy verified, fan-posted tickets through Ticketmaster.com. For any Kentucky Wildcats events, click the “See Resale Only” tab and browse available tickets that are authenticated via barcode verification.

As a reminder, fans must be careful when purchasing tickets on the secondary market. Any tickets not purchased directly from the UK Ticket Office, Ticketmaster, or TicketExchange are not guaranteed to be valid and admission could be denied. Please note that UK student and guest tickets are not valid to be sold or bought on the TicketExchange. All student tickets issued at the UK Ticket Office require the student to also present their valid student ID to gain admission into Commonwealth Stadium.

For questions about TicketExchange, call the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287, email uktickets@uky.edu or consult the ticket office’s new Digital Ticketing Guide. Fans may also contact the TicketExchange call center at (800) 842-7112 for assistance with their TicketExchange account.
