Kentucky Women’s Soccer Seeking Ball Kids, Escorts for 2015
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of
Kentucky women’s soccer team kicked off its 2015 preseason on Wednesday morning
at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex and now just sits 16 days away
from its season opener on Aug 21 against No. 20 Washington at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Kentucky is looking for ball kids to help on
select home games this season by retrieving the balls that go out of play while
standing on the touch line the entire game and earning other perks along the
way. All ball kids must be at least 10 years old, and with that you will get
free admission into the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex for all your
players and coaches. All games will need at least 10 ball kids for every team
that signs up.
Team escorts walk out onto the field with the
players during introductions and the National Anthem, and those players must be
younger than the 8th grade to participate. Like the ball kids,
admission for all player escorts and coaches will be free of charge.
Please e-mail the Kentucky Marketing Dept. at WeAreUK@uky.edu with your team’s information
to be eligible to participate.
