LEXINGTON, Ky. — After booting a school-record 54-yard field goal and totaling 11 points at Tennessee on Saturday, Kentucky freshman Austin MacGinnis has been tabbed the National Placekicker Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards, it was announced on Monday.

MacGinnis shares the CFPA National Placekicker of the Week title with Florida State’s Roberto Aguayo. In addition, Kentucky senior defensive end/linebacker Bud Dupree was tabbed an honorable mention defensive lineman performer of the week, after totaling a career high 14 tackles.

A native of Wedowee, Ala., MacGinnis tied his career high with three field goals made, including setting a new program record with a 54-yard field goal to end the second quarter. MacGinnis also connected from 32 and 30 yards in the game and finished with 11 total points.

On the year, MacGinnis has made 17 of his 23 field goal attempts and is a perfect 37-for-37 on point after touchdown attempts, owning a team-best 88 points. MacGinnis is one of three kickers in the NCAA to have three kicks of at least 50 yards in 2014, going 3-for-5 from beyond 50 yards. MacGinnis, who leads the Southeastern Conference in most field goals made with 17, ranks tied for fourth in the league in scoring for kickers, averaging eight points per game. The freshman also paces the league in field goal percentage at 73.9 percent.

Kentucky at Louisville Game Time on Six-Day Hold by ACC: The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that the game time and television selection for the Kentucky-Louisville game on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium is on a six-day hold.

The game will be televised on one of the ABC/ESPN networks, but kickoff time and TV information will not be confirmed until after completion of the Nov. 22 games. Other ACC controlled games that are on six-day holds are Florida at Florida State, South Carolina at Clemson, Pittsburgh at Miami (Fla.) and Wake Forest at Duke.

This is the first season that Kentucky and Louisville will square off in the regular-season finale.
