  • With the loss, Kentucky is 5-4, 2-4 in the Southeastern Conference. Missouri is 7-2, 4-1 in the SEC.

    Patrick Towles
    made his ninth consecutive start to open the year.

    • Towles threw his 13th TD pass of the year and the 14th of his two-year career.
    • Towles threw 159 consecutive passes without an interception, spanning the last five consecutive games, before a deep ball was picked off with under a minute in the first half.
      • It marks the second-longest streak in UK football history, with Andre Woodson owning the record with 325 consecutive passes without an interception.
  • Freshman RB Stanley “Boom” Williams made his first career start.
    • Williams took a pass 32 yards in the third quarter, the longest reception of his career.
      • Williams set new career highs with 58 receiving yards on five catches, both team bests.
    • Williams rushed a career-high 12 times, totaling 39 yards.

    Mikel Horton
    rushed a career-high tying 10 times for a career-high 62 yards.

    • Horton set a new career long with a 27-yard rush in the second quarter.

    Ryan Flannigan

    Blake McClain
    broke up his seventh pass of the year and the 12th of his two-year career.
