Last Sunday’s match against Auburn was UK’s annual Kick-Cancer Match, in which UKWS wore special Nike Volt jerseys in support of the research for Pediactric Cancer. The Wildcats will be auctioning off all of the jerseys following the conclusion of the match, with all the proceeds benefiting the Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky’s hospital.

Note: The match ball is signed by all of the UK women’s soccer players on the active roster.

All of the admission prices for Sunday’s match, as well as flowers that were laid on the goal line following the conclusion of the match were donated to Dance Blue, which is UK’s world-famous 24-hour marathon dedicated to raising awareness and donations for the fight against pediatric cancer.
