LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky has announced a new social-centric mobile application that enhances the game day experience, teaming with SportsLabs to develop the Kentucky Gameday App to keep UK fans connected to the Wildcats.
“The Kentucky Wildcats Gameday app allows us to continue to connect with the Big Blue Nation in new and different ways, with exclusive content, game day information and more, right on their mobile device,” said Nathan Schwake, UK assistant athletics director for marketing. “We’re excited to see just how much the app can do for fans and look forward to making it even better with their feedback.”
The Kentucky Gameday App is packed with robust social, on-campus and stadium features that enhance the game-day experience by delivering:
- Free live game audio;
- Real-time Instagram and Twitter feeds from the team;
- The official game-day guide with key times, events and need-to-know information including stadium maps and parking to plan the day;
- Enhanced location-aware maps for fans attending both home and away games;
- Live Conference and Top 25 scores, real-time stats;
- Opt-in alerts for weather updates, pre-game events, play-by-play information and more.
Kentucky’s Gameday App can be found as a free download in both the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.
Season Ticket Holder Upgrades
In addition, Kentucky has partnered with Experience (expapp.com) to offer football season ticket holders the ability to use their smartphones to purchase seat upgrades beginning with the Vanderbilt game this Saturday.
The upgrades are accessed within the new Kentucky Wildcats Gameday app, can be found on the menu bar to the left, and currently only open to season ticket holders. Fans with season tickets can see these rewards by logging in with the email address associated with their account.
In the future, the platform can be used to offer special game-day experiences, exclusive promotional items and more.

Kentucky will also have its own branded 24/7 channel on TuneIn, giving fans international access to team specific live play-by-play, pre-game and post-game shows, live weekly coaches shows, and in-season game replays.
