The annual intrasquad scrimmage comes five days before the Wildcats open the 2014 season. UK hosts Wichita State Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. as part of the four-team Bluegrass Battle.

Additionally, single match tickets for the 2014 season went on sale today. Reserved tickets are $5 each, while general admission single match tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors (65+) and youth (6-18). Children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge in general admission seating.

The 2014 campaign marks Craig Skinner’s 10th season as head coach of Kentucky. Skinner enters the season as the program’s second all-time winningest coach. With 202 victories, he is just seven wins shy of tying UK’s all-time wins mark of 209, set by Kathy DeBoar from 1984-92.

The Wildcats are coming off a school-record ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and finished third in the SEC in 2013.
