John Calipari’s tour for his latest book, “Players First: Coaching from the Inside Out,” will transition from national media appearances to local book signings starting on Thursday.
Beginning Thursday with a stop in Lexington, Coach Cal will make his way around the state to meet with fans and sign copies of the book.
Below is a schedule of the local book-signing tour. All times are subject to change.

* The Carmichael’s Bookstore event on April 24 is an off-site event at the Clifton Center in Louisville. It is a ticketed event. Tickets are $30, which gets you admission to the discussion with Calipari and Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones, one copy of Calipari’s new book, and a designated place in the book-signing line based on the letter on your ticket stub. Seating at the event will be general admission (no reserved seats).

** Calipari will only be signing copies of the new book. Memorabilia will not be signed during the book signings.
Calipari is currently in Bristol, Conn., making appearances on ESPN’s family of networks. The national tour will conclude Wednesday morning, though Calipari will still make an appearance on The Colbert Report on April 23.
