LEXINGTON, Ky. – After four straight road matches, the No. 28 University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will host No. 3 University of Georgia, Friday, March 21 at 11 a.m. ET and No. 47 University of Tennessee, Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m. ET at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Center.
Kentucky (14-4, 4-2 SEC) will look to bounce back from its loss to Ole Miss against the Bulldogs. Georgia is 12-2 and undefeated in conference play so far this season. In their last outing, the Bulldogs knocked off then – No. 3 Florida, 4-2.
The Wildcats will have their hands full with Georgia’s roster that contains four nationally ranked players, three in the top 25.
Tennessee (7-8, 1-4 SEC) has struggled away from home, but won their last two outings played away from Goodfriend Tennis Center. The Volunteers will have one more road test when they play against Vanderbilt before heading to Lexington to take on the Wildcats. The Wildcats will look to get their first win over the Vols since 2008.
