LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s soccer team will play seven games during its 2014 spring schedule, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon by UK third-year head coach Johan Cedergren.
“We are looking forward to our spring schedule,” Cedergren said. “The spring is always an important time for us to get out on the field and see our student-athletes in game situations. We believe this is a challenging schedule that will help us improve and get ready for the 2014 season.”
Kentucky will open the spring season on March 29 vs. Cincinnati at the UK Soccer Complex, with first touch at 7 p.m. ET.
UK will then travel to Nashville, Tenn., to face Lipscomb on April 5 at 10 a.m. ET and Memphis at 4 p.m. ET.
UK will then return to the UK Soccer Complex for a second doubleheader, hosting Cedarville at 1 p.m. ET and Bellarmine at 2:15 p.m. ET on April 12.
On April 19, UK will host Dayton at 1 p.m. ET at the UK Soccer Complex, before wrapping up the spring season with an April 26 match vs. Bradley in Peoria, Ill., at 2 p.m. ET.
