LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Southeastern Conference released the women’s basketball TV schedule for the 2013-14 season, which gives the Kentucky women’s basketball team at least 12 appearances, including four games on the ESPN family of networks. Additional game times and the UK IMG Sports Network TV selections will be released at a later date.
Twelve of UK’s 29 regular season games have been selected for national or regional TV. Two matchups will be featured on ESPN2 (at Texas A&M on Feb. 23 and home on Senior Day vs. Vanderbilt on March 2), while ESPNU will televise UK’s matchup at home vs. Missouri on Jan. 12. The Wildcats’ matchup at Tennessee on Feb. 16, will be showcased in a new ESPN Sunday afternoon package. The game is set to tip at 1 p.m. ET and is one of only five games in the package.

SportSouth picked up three home games on Jan. 26 vs. Arkansas, Feb. 2 vs. LSU (National Girls & Women in Sports Day/Girl Scout Day) and Feb. 13 vs. Ole Miss (Pink Zone) and one road game Jan. 30 at Georgia. CSS will broadcast both of the Wildcats’ matchups with Florida (Jan. 5 and Feb. 9). Kentucky’s lone game versus Auburn on the Plains (Jan. 19) this season will be featured on SEC TV.
In addition to the 11 regular season games, the entire SEC Tournament in Duluth, Ga., will be broadcast with the first and second rounds airing on SportSouth. The semifinals will run on ESPNU for the fifth consecutive year, while ESPN will carry the championship game.
The majority of games not televised nationally will be available as a part of ESPN Full Court, the pay subscription college basketball out-of-market service, and on ESPN3.
