IOWA CITY, Iowa – Led by top-five finishes in two events, five University of Kentucky divers competed at the 2013 USA Diving AT&T Senior National Diving Championships Aug. 13-18 in Iowa City, Iowa.

Juniors Christa Cabot and Lindsay Keahey notched a fourth-place finish in the synchronized women’s platform finals, while senior Greg Ferrucci finished fifth in the men’s 1-meter springboard event.

Cabot, who competed in a UK-high four events, also finished 11th in the synchronized women’s 3-meter springboard event with Keahey. She finished 12th in the women’s 1-meter springboard and 17th in the women’s platform.

UK seniors Corey Cowger and Zack Peterson teamed up for an 11th-place finish in the synchronized men’s 3-meter springboard.

Ferrucci and Cowger also competed in the men’s 3-meter springboard and finished 13th and 22nd, respectively. Peterson finished 17th in the men’s platform event.

The six-day competition, one of USA Diving’s most prestigious events, featured more than 120 of the nation’s best divers contending for 10 national titles.
