STATESBORO, Ga. – The University of Kentucky men’s golf team will participate in their second tournament of the week as they travel to Statesboro, Ga., to compete in the 34th annual Schenkel Invitational March 15-17. The 54-hole stroke play event will be played at the Forest Heights Country Club and will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. ET. The course is a par-72, 6,962-yard layout.

Kentucky’s lineup will feature senior Chase Parker, Juniors Cody Martin, Stephen Powers and Ben Stow, along with sophomore Will Bishop. Bishop will tee off first from hole No. 1 at 9 a.m. followed by Parker, Martin, Stow and Powers in nine minute intervals. Senior Joseph Barr will compete as an individual and will begin on hole No. 10 at 10:30 a.m.

This is the fourth tournament of the spring for the Wildcats who have recorded top-10 finishes in their first three events, including tying for fifth earlier in the week at the Tiger Invitational. Powers placed in the top-10 for the second consecutive tournament, tying for sixth, while Stow posted his second straight top-20 finish, tying for 14th.

The Wildcats will compete against 14 teams in the invitational, including Alabama, Central Florida, College of Charleston, Florida, Georgia Southern, North Florida, North Texas, Maryland, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Texas, UAB, Vanderbilt and Virginia

First round play will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. ET with a round of 18 being played on Saturday and Sunday to conclude the invitational.
