LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky gymnastics team checked in at No. 19, up a spot from last week, in the latest GymInfo national poll.
The Wildcats have topped 196 the past three meets for the first time in school history.
For the second straight week Kentucky (7-4-1, 3-3-1 SEC) has broken the program record regional qualifying score as the team’s RQS this week is 195.860, up from 195.635 last week.
The Wildcats rank No. 14 on balance beam, and No. 19 on uneven bars nationally.
Junior Audrey Harrison checks in at No. 20 in the national individual all-around rankings. The Knoxville,Tenn., native is tied for the Southeastern Conference lead with seven AA titles this season.
The rankings are based on teams’ RQS, which is calculated by taking a team/individual’s six best regular season meet scores, of which three must be away. The high score is eliminated and the remaining five scores are averaged. RQS is the basis for NCAA Regional meet selection.
The Wildcats will travel to No. 16 Penn State for the final dual meet of the season on Saturday.
