FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Kentucky track and field teams open the 2013 Southeastern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday on the Arkansas campus.
The meet will be held in the Randal Tyson Track Center, where multiple Wildcats competed two weeks ago at the Tyson Invitational.
Daniel Buckles will carry the banner for Kentucky in the Men’s Heptathlon as the team’s lone competitor on Friday. Only multi-events will be contested on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
The day one action will be broadcast on ArkansasRazorbacks.com, and live results will be available through flashresults.com. The SEC Championships will continue through Sunday with many more Wildcats participating on days two and three.
ESPN3 will broadcast several large windows of running events on both Saturday and Sunday, while the host institution will broadcast the remainder of the event for free.
The ESPN commentary team will be made up of Dwight Stones (play-by-play), Larry Rawson (color analysis) and Lewis Johnson (sideline reporter).
Fans are encouraged to interact with two of the ESPN announcers as Dwight Stones and Lewis Johnson have invited viewers to join the conversation on Twitter throughout the live stream on Saturday. They can be reached on Twitter @DwightStones and LewisJohnsonMG.
