LEXINGTON, Ky. — In anticipation of weather hitting the Myrtle Beach, S.C., area, No. 8 Kentucky has altered its travel schedule and will now face Kansas State on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, Elon on Friday at 12 p.m. ET and Coastal Carolina on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET at Pelicans Park.
The Wildcats will return to the Palmetto State on Wednesday night in advance of its now scheduled game with Kansas State. UK returned home Monday night after a three-game weekend in Spartanburg, S.C., on the campuses on Wofford and USC Upstate.
Following its three-game swing at Pelicans Park in Myrtle Beach, the Wildcats will return to Cliff Hagan Stadium for 12-game homestand.
Kentucky is projected to utilize the weekend rotation of sophomore southpaw A.J. Reed (1-0, 3.60 ERA) on Thursday vs. K-State, senior lefty Jerad Grundy (1-0, 0.00 ERA) on Friday vs. Elon and junior left-hander Corey Littrell (0-0, 13.50 ERA) on Saturday at Coastal Carolina.
