LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will host Miami (Oh.), Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex.
Kentucky is coming off a 4-3 win over No. 54 Indiana on Sunday. The Wildcats won the doubles point and straight-set wins from freshman Nadia Ravita and senior Jessica Stiles gave UK an early 3-0 lead in the match.
Indiana battled back to tie the match 3-3, with the No. 6 singles match left to decide the outcome. Sophomore Stephanie Fox stepped up to the challenge and took the match in straight sets, giving the Wildcats a 4-3 win.
The RedHawks (3-5) are coming off a 5-2 win over Middle Tennessee State on Sunday. Miami swept the doubles matches and took four of the six singles matches in the process.
The two programs met in 2012, with Kentucky taking the match 5-2. Miami took the doubles point in 2012 but UK stormed back in singles play to win the match.

Admission to Tuesday’s match is free and free parking is available in Parking Structure No. 7. Match programs, men’s and women’s posters and schedule cards will be available for fans in attendance.
