LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky volleyball team traveled to the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Center on Friday.
The team coaches and staff, along with Scratch the mascot, all spent time Friday afternoon with some of our nation’s veterans.
Scratch and the team joined in spending some time with local veterans helping lift spirits throughout the halls and in-room visits. The team thanked the brave men and women with their smiles and conversation, along with some mini-volleyballs.The community outreach program was a part of the National Salute to Veterans Patients week.
