LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky track and field teams traveled to the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Wildcat athletes and coaches alike spent their Wednesday evening following an afternoon practice with some of our nation’s veterans.
The Wildcats shared time with veterans lifting spirits throughout the center’s halls as well as during in-room visits. Team members also passed out UK t-shirts.
As in past years, the team has been active in community outreach efforts this season.
