LEXINGTON, Ky. – Behind a regular-season effort of seven goals and six assists, University of Kentucky sophomore forward Arin Gilliland was named First Team All-SEC, while freshman Kelli Hubly and Courtney Raetzman were named to the All-Freshman team, it was announced by the Southeastern Conference office Monday afternoon.

Gilliland leads UK with seven goals on the season, including six assists to tab a team-high 20 points on the season. The Lexington, Ky., native scored three game-winning goals on the season, as she helped UK notch wins over Georgia, South Carolina and Eastern Kentucky. The sophomore was also honored with a postseason honor a year ago, being named All-SEC second team in 2011. Gilliland was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17, in addition to being placed on the Soccer America National Team of the Week.

Courtney Raetzman played over 1,400 minutes on the pitch this season, starting in every game she appeared. The freshman from Elk Grove, Ill., scored the game-winning goal in the win over No. 13 Florida as part of her 12-point regular season. Raetzman scored four goals to go along with four assists, while being named SEC Freshman of the Week on Sept. 17. In addition, Raetzman scored two game-winners, also collecting the golden goal in overtime vs. LSU on the road.

Freshman Kelli Hubly also joins Raetzman on the All-Freshman team, after scoring five goals and charting two assists in the 2012 campaign. Hubly scored both UK goals in the 2-2 draw with No. 6 Texas A&M. She recorded her first-career multipoint game, scoring a goal and collecting an assist in UK’s 3-0 shutout win over Mississippi State. Hubly scored her first-career goal in dramatic fashion, as the Elk Grove, Ill., native struck the back of the net in UK’s 2-0 win over No. 12 Louisville.

Kentucky will begin postseason play on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. CT at the SEC Tournament in Orange Beach, Ala. The No. 4 seeded Wildcats face the No. 5 seeded Missouri Tigers in a game that will be broadcast on the SEC Digital Network live online.
