LEXINGTON, Ky. – After picking up its third-straight win in Southeastern Conference play Friday night in Lexington, the University of Kentucky women’s soccer team is set to take on the Auburn Tigers on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. ET at the UK Soccer Complex.

The Wildcats knocked off South Carolina on Friday night 1-0 for the second-straight year, as the Cats picked up their third-straight 1-0 win on the 2012 season to improve to 11-5-1 on the season. Sophomore Arin Gilliland, who now leads UK with six goals this year, including three game winners, scored the game-winning goal off a deflection that found the near-side netting

Junior goalkeeper, and defending Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Kayla King posted her third-straight shutout, as the UK back line only forced the Louisville, Ky., native to make one save on six shots faced. King came into the season with no shutouts to her resume, and has logged four on the 2012 campaign. With the win, King now stands with a 10-2-0 record on the year in the cage.

Kentucky also locked up a spot in the SEC Tournament by virtue of its win Friday, as UK will travel to Orange Beach, Ala., for the third-straight season. The Wildcats currently sit fifth in the SEC standings with 19 points in conference play.

Fans should also note the time of the game, as kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. ET, in a switch from the original schedule release. The game will serve as the front end of a doubleheader with UK men’s soccer, who plays Florida International University at 5:00 p.m. ET.
