LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky true freshman punter Landon Foster has been honored as Honorable Mention Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards, based on his efforts vs. Arkansas on Saturday.

Foster punted eight times in the game for an average of 48.4 yards, which was the second-highest average of the season for the true freshman. Foster launched four punts over 50 yards, including a career-best 58-yarder. Foster pinned Arkansas inside its own 20-yard line once in the game.

Foster, from Franklin, Tenn., has been chosen Honorable Mention Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards four times this season, also for the Louisville, Kent State and Mississippi State games.

Georgia at Kentucky set for 7 p.m. ET on FSN: The Kentucky-Georgia football game on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at Commonwealth Stadium has been set for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on Fox Sports Network. The game will serve as UK’s annual Homecoming and Dermontti Dawson Day.

Dermontti Dawson Day on Saturday, Oct. 20 vs. Georgia: The University of Kentucky football team will honor recent Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and UK football legend Dermontti Dawson on Saturday, Oct. 20 with Dermontti Dawson Day at Commonwealth Stadium. The Wildcats will battle Southeastern Conference foe Georgia in the game with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. The game will also serve as UK’s annual Homecoming.

Dawson, who played at Kentucky from 1984-87, will be on hand for the game, including signing autographs in the Wildcat Refuge two hours before kickoff. Dawson will also be honored on the field during the game, while the first 10,000 fans in the stadium will receive a Dermontti Dawson rally towel.
