We’re getting to that point in the year where there’s basketball news pretty much every day.Over the past week, you’ve seen a flood of preseason Kentucky basketball stories here and elsewhere and that will only continue this week. I’ll be headed to Louisville on Wednesday for the tipoff luncheon, where John Calipari and Matthew Mitchell will both be addressing fans. Look for a story from that tomorrow afternoon.In the mean time, CBSSports.com is rolling out some content previewing 2012-13. First, the five experts from the site picked conference champions, Final Four teams and a national champ here. Four of the five picked UK to win the Southeastern Conference. Gary Parrish picked UK to make the Final Four and repeat as national champions.More interestingly, at least in my opinion, the experts tabbed the 100 best players in college basketball. Take a look at the complete list here, but below are the rankings for each of the included UK players:

5. Nerlens Noel, 6-10, 228, C, Fr., KentuckyHe’s not Anthony Davis, but he sure will remind you of last year’s number one pick on the defensive end. He’s an exceptional shot-blocker, but does not possess the offensive skills of Davis. — (Jeff Goodman)32. Alex Poythress, 6-7, 239, F, Fr., KentuckyPoythress made the transition from purely a power forward to a combo forward who is difficult to defend.
