The USA Junior Championships hosted nearly 800 of the country’s top high school and young collegiate athletes. The meet featured athletes between the ages of 16 and 19 years old at the end of the year. It also serves as the selection for the 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships scheduled for July 10-15 in Barcelona, Spain. The top-two finishers who meet qualifying standards in each event this week will be invited to compete in Barcelona as members of Team USA.

Rising sophomore Devinn Cartwright will represent the Bahamas at the IAAF World Junior Championships in the 100-meter hurdles and 400m hurdles.
