While most were relaxing over Memorial Day weekend, Eric Quigley has been doing what he’s done from the start of his college career: winning tennis matches.On Sunday, Kentucky’s all-time winningest men’s tennis player defeated ninth-seeded Blaz Rola in the semifinals of the NCAA Singles Championship, advancing to within one win of a national championship. He came back from a set down, dominating in the second before winning a third-set tiebreak.He will face off against top-ranked Steven Johnson of Southern Cal in the finals and will look to end Johnson’s 71-match winning streak.
