LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky football season opener at Louisville has been picked up for live national telecast on ESPN. The game will be played Sunday, Sept. 2, at 3:30 p.m. in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
This will be the seventh time in the series that the game has been played on a Sunday. The previous times were 2002-06 and 2008.
Here’s Kentucky’s updated schedule. The times for the Kent State and WKU games will be announced during the summer as the television networks determine their schedules for the first three weeks of the season. Beginning with games of Sept. 22, game times and TV will be determined 12 days in advance of the game date.
