- The Wildcats used the starting combination of Terrence Jones, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Doron Lamb, Anthony Davis and Marquis Teague for the 27th time this season. UK is 26-1 with that starting five.
- Darius Miller was the first sub off the bench for UK. It was his 25th time as the Wildcat sixth man.
- Kentucky extended its streak of games with a 3-pointer to 825 games, the third-longest streak in the country.
- With nine blocked shots, the Wildcats pushed their NCAA record number of blocks to 326.
- Trailing 10-5, Kentucky went on a 16-0 run over a 3:40 span to take a 21-10 lead.
- Kentucky led 42-22 at the half. The Wildcats are 30-0 when leading at halftime.
- UK held Baylor to 22 first-half points, the fewest by an opponent since holding Georgia to 19 on March 1.
- It was also the fewest first half points by a UK opponent since allowing 16 to Cornell in the 2010 Sweet 16.

- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was selected NCAA South Regional Most Outstanding Player, it marks the second straight season UK has had a player named MOP (Brandon Knight, 2011).

- Tallied 17 first-half points, the eighth time this season he’s gone for double-digits in the first half.
- Finished with 19 points and five rebounds.

#20 Doron Lamb
- With 14 points moved to within 14 points of his 1,000th career point.
