LEXINGTON, Ky. – Men’s Head Soccer Coach, Johan Cedergren, announces that open walk-on tryouts will be held on Sunday April 1st at 9AM at the UK Soccer Complex in Lexington, Ky.  All players must register for the tryout prior to attending. Players must have a physical and a sickle cell test done in order to compete at the tryout.  Lastly, all players will need to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday March 26th at 5PM in the Wildcat Den located just inside Gate 3 of Commonwealth Stadium. Anyone interested in trying out for the team that has questions can direct them to David Casper at DavidCasper@uky.edu. 

Cedergren is entering his first year at the helm of the UK men’s soccer team after a highly-successful run as the associate head coach at Dartmouth.
