Kentucky-Georgia Postgame Notes

Kentucky is 29-1 overall and has won 21 in a row, the longest active streak in Division I.
- The 21-game win streak is tied for the eighth-longest in school history.
UK is 15-0 in Southeastern Conference play.
Georgia is 13-16 overall, 4-11 in the SEC.
Kentucky leads the series 115-25, including 55-5 in Lexington.
- UK is 8-0 against Georgia when the Wildcats are ranked No. 1.
UK is 89-19 all-time on Senior Night.
Kentucky concludes the regular season Sunday at Florida. The game is at noon and will be televised by CBS.
- If Kentucky can win at Florida, the Wildcats would finish undefeated in regular-season SEC action for the 12th time in school history – 1933, 1935, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1952, 1954, 1996, 2003 and possibly 2012.

Kentucky started with the lineup of Marquis Teague, Darius Miller, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Eloy Vargas and Anthony Davis for the first time.
Anthony Davis’ first two minutes of the game featured: winning the opening tip, a hook shot on the first possession, a blocked shot, rebound of the blocked shot, and the first three-pointer of his career at the 18:03 mark.
Following Davis’ opening spree, Eloy Vargas scored to make it 7-0 and force a Georgia timeout at 17:25.
The Wildcats dominated the remainder of the half and went to intermission ahead 37-19, the largest lead of the half.

Ahead 49-28, Kentucky scored on eight-straight possessions, seven of which were three-pointers, for a 23-3 run that gave UK its biggest lead of the game (41 points) at 72-31.

UK made 15 of 27 three-pointers, the most threes in one game since tallying 15 vs. East Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament on March 18, 2010.
UK held Georgia to 33.9 percent from the field. UK entered the game leading the nation in field-goal percentage defense at 36.5.
UK is now 73-1 under Coach John Calipari when holding the opponent to 67 or fewer points.
UK is 22-0 under Calipari when limiting the opponent to 55 or fewer points.
UK blocked six shots today. Kentucky has 269 blocks this season and has moved into the top 10 on the NCAA single-season blocks list.
UK has an all-time record of 166-25 while being ranked No. 1 (AP) in the country, including 12-1 this season.
- UK is 69-2 at home while being ranked No. 1.
- John Calipari is 54-7 while coaching the top-ranked team in the country, including 12-2 at Kentucky.
The Wildcats extended their home winning streak to 52 games, the longest active streak in the nation. The run includes the 2009 NIT game at Memorial Coliseum and the last 51 games at Rupp Arena.
UK is a perfect 51-0 under Calipari at Rupp Arena, the longest win streak in venue history.
Over the last three seasons, UK’s men and women basketball teams have combined for a home record of 99-2.
In its 109th season of basketball, Kentucky is the NCAA’s all-time wins leader with 2,081 wins.

Darius Miller led the Wildcats with 17 points on Senior Night, including five three-pointers (one short of his career high).
- Miller now has 1,156 points and tied Derrick Miller for 43rd place on the UK career scoring list.
- UK’s record during Miller’s career is 115-27 (.810), including 83-14 (.856) in the last three seasons under Coach John Calipari.
- During his career, 10 of Miller’s UK teammates are currently in the NBA.
Anthony Davis totaled nine points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots.
- After hitting 4 of 5 field-goal attempts today, Davis has made 70 of 102 (68.6 percent) from the field in the last 12 games.
- Made his first three-pointer as a Wildcat.
- Davis has blocked at least two shots in every game this season. He entered the game leading the nation with 4.8 blocks per game.
- Davis’ 140 blocks ties Shaquille O’Neal for sixth place on the SEC single-season blocks list.
Marquis Teague had eight points with four assists.
- Has 66 assists vs. 29 turnovers in the last 13 games, a ratio of 2.3 to 1.
- Averaging 6.3 assists over the last six games.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 12 points and gathered seven rebounds. He made his only three-point attempt, his first made three since the game at Tennessee on Jan. 14.

Eloy Vargas made his first start as a Wildcat and scored two points and garnered five rebounds.

Kyle Wiltjer tied his season high of three three-pointers, the fourth time this season he has done so.

Doron Lamb continued his recent scoring surge with 13 points. He has averaged 14.4 points per game over the last seven games.
