LEXINGTON, Ky. – After plastering the school record for the third time this year and posting a remarkable 429.90 on the three-meter dive, Greg Ferrucci was named Southeastern Conference Male Diver of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday. The honor was Ferrucci’s third of the season awarded by the SEC office.

Ferrucci competed in four events this weekend against Alabama and Emory University, and came away victorious in three of them. Ferrucci won both the three-meter and one-meter competition on Sunday against Emory University after taking the title on the one-meter Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala., against the Crimson Tide by posting a mark of 327.98.

Ferruci and the Kentucky Wildcats will next take to the waters at home for the final time of the 2011-12 season at the Lancaster Aquatic Center in Lexington, Ky., on Jan. 28 against the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. The first race in the dual meet will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET.
