Kentucky improves to 17-1, 3-0 in the Southeastern Conference, while Tennessee falls to 8-9, 1-2.
The Wildcats are 147-66 all-time against Tennessee and 53-47 in Knoxville.
UK is now 891-246 in SEC regular season action.
The Wildcats have now won nine-straight games, their longest winning streak of the season.
Kentucky has won four-straight in the series against Tennessee, the longest streak for either school since UK ran off eight-straight between the 2002 and 2005 seasons
UK returns to action on Tuesday, hosting the Arkansas Razorbacks. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET and the game will air live on ESPN.

Team game notes

The Wildcats used the starting combination of Darius Miller, Terrence Jones, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Marquis Teague and Anthony Davis for the second-straight game.
Doron Lamb was the first sub off the bench for the second-straight game.
Kentucky extended its streak of games with a 3-pointer to 805 games, the third-longest streak in the country.
The Wildcats trailed at the half 34-28. It was the first time this season in league play Kentucky trailed at the half. It was also the largest halftime deficit UK has faced this season. UK is 3-1 when trailing at the half this season.
Kentucky was 0-2 from 3-point range in the first half, the fewest number of 3’s attempted in the first half this season.
UK trailed by eight in the second half; it was the team’s largest deficit in league play this season.
Trailing 47-39 at the 12:46 mark, UK went on a 15-5 run to take a 54-52 lead. Then with the game tied 54-54, Kentucky went on an 8-0 run and never looked back for the victory.
Down the stretch, Kentucky came up big at the free throw line. The Wildcats hit 5-of-7 “clutch free throws” (final three minutes of regulation and OT in a six-point game). Darius Miller was 2-2, while Doron Lamb was 2-3 and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 1-2.
After shooting 36 pct. from the field in the first half, Kentucky was 12-24 (50 pct.) in the second half.
Kentucky, the SEC’s top free throw shooting team, shot 72.4 pct. from the free throw line. It was the seventh time in the last eight games UK has shot 72 pct. or better from the charity stripe.
Kentucky attempted only five 3-pointers, the fewest attempts in the John Calipari era and the fewest since five attempts against West Virginia on Nov. 29, 2008 in the Las Vegas Invitational.

Fouled out for only the second time in his career.
Finished with 10 points, his fourth-straight game in double-figures.
Tallied three blocks, the most since blocking three against North Carolina.

#14 Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Recorded his third career double-double.
Finished with career-highs in points (17) and rebounds (12) in league play.
Scored in double-figures for the first time since the Louisville game.
Tied career-high with eight made free throws.

#20 Doron Lamb

Came off the bench for the second-straight game.
Attempted just one 3-pointer, his fewest attempts this season and fewest since he attempted zero against Princeton in the NCAA Tournament last season.
