The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Thursday nearly 80 nominees for the Naismith Student Section of the Year Award. As you might guess, Kentucky’s eRUPPtion Zone is one of them. By visiting www.facebook.com/ILoveCollegeHoops, fans can cast their votes for Rupp Arena’s student section in its bid to win the award. The winning student section will be determined by two rounds of fan voting, combined with the scoring of the finalists by the Naismith Awards Board of Selectors. Scoring will be based upon the student section’s name and attendance, as well as photos, videos and a write-up submitted by the school.Head here to vote for the eRUPPtion Zone.The winning student section will receive $5,000 for its athletic association.
