LEXINGTON, Ky. – Three University of Kentucky gymnastics meets will be televised on a delayed basis during the 2012 season, including two meets in historic Memorial Coliseum, the Southeastern Conference announced recently.

Kentucky, which is ranked No. 23 in the GymInfo Preseason Coaches’ Poll, will have its home meets with preseason No. 3 Florida and defending national champion and preseason No. 2 Alabama televised on Fox Sports Network. UK’s meet at Georgia will also been shown on FSN. Although none of the meets will be broadcast live, FSN reaches a total of 25 million households across the U.S.

UK and Florida will compete on Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. ET, while the replay of the meet will air on Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on FSN. Kentucky’s meet with Alabama on Feb. 10 will also replay on FSN on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. ET.  The Wildcats’ final television meet of the year will be its Feb. 17 road test at No. 9 Georgia, which will air on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. ET on FSN.

A total of 16 SEC gymnastics meets will be televised this season on FSN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3.com and CSS. In addition to the regular-season action, fans can watch the SEC Championship on ESPN2 and ESPNU, beginning March 29.

The Wildcats will open the season on Saturday, Jan. 7 when it hosts Excite Night at the Kentucky Classic. The event will be a four-team meet, featuring Bowling Green State, Wisconsin-Oshkosh and 2011 NCAA National Finalist Oklahoma. Show festivities will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET with the meet beginning at 6 p.m. ET.

Reserved tickets for gymnastics events are $5 each, regardless of age, while general admission tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors and youth. Tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office at 1-800-928-2287. Tickets are also sold at the Joe Craft Center Ticket Office on the night of the event. Group tickets (20+ people) are available by calling the ticket office in advance of the event.

Gymnastics season tickets (reserved seats) are available for only $15. To purchase new season tickets, you may order online or call the UK Ticket Office.
