Sideline reporter Shannon Spake will be covering Thursday’s Kentucky-St. John’s game at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2 with Dan Shulman and Dick Vitale. She is entering her second season handling sideline duties for Southeastern Conference games on ESPN and UK-St. John’s will be the first college basketball game she has worked so far this season.Spake came to the Wildcats’ practice on Wednesday at the Joe Craft Center in preparation for the game and was kind enough to answer a few questions in this video interview with Cat Scratches. In it, she discusses what she saw in practice, the preparation she puts in before games and what it is like to work in Rupp Arena.
