LEXINGTON, Ky. – Sophomore Greg Ferrucci was named Southeastern Conference Male Diver of the Week for the second consecutive week after posting a school-record score of 396.25 and taking home first place in the one-meter diving competition this weekend, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Ferrucci also placed first in the three-meter competition making it the second weekend in a row Ferrucci has claimed both the one-meter and three-meter crowns.
The reigning SEC Male Diver of the Year, Ferrucci tabbed a school-record score of 387.37 in the one-meter competition two weeks ago, only to shatter the record by 8.88 points this weekend.
The Wildcats won the double-dual meet with Southern Illinois and Missouri this weekend, upping the Wildcats record to 3-2 on the season.
Kentucky will next take to the waters on Wednesday Nov. 16 in the annual UT Invite held in Knoxville, Tenn. The meet will last through Nov. 18.
