Team Records and Series Notes

• Kentucky is 4-5 overall, 1-4 in the Southeastern Conference. Ole MIss is 2-7, 0-6 in SEC play.
• Kentucky and Ole Miss met for the 42nd time in school history.
• Ole Miss leads the all-time series 27-14-1, while Kentucky holds a slight edge in games played in Lexington 11-9-1.
• Kentucky begins a two-game road trip next Saturday, Nov. 12, when it travels to Vanderbilt. The game will be televised by SEC Network at 12:21 p.m. ET (11:21 a.m. CT in Nashville).

UK Team Notes

• Kentucky scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to come from behind and win the game. This is the 14th game since 2006, a span of 66 games, that Kentucky has come from behind to win in the fourth quarter.
• Kentucky won the toss and deferred to the second half.
• The Wildcats threw for a season high 283 passing yards in the game, completing 19 of 36 passes with two passing touchdowns. The 283 passing yards is the most since Kentucky threw for 353 yards against Georgia last season.
• Kentucky did not have a turnover for the second consecutive game, improving its mark to 7-1 under Joker Phillips when it wins the turnover battle.
• This is the fourth-straight game that Kentucky has had at least one takeaway on defense.
• The Wildcats’ defense had 11 tackles for loss in the game, which is a season high.
• Kentucky had a 100-yard receiver and a 100-yard rusher in the game for the first time since La’Rod King and Josh Clemons did it against Central Michigan.

UK Individual Notes

• True freshman quarterback Maxwell Smith earned his first career start and completed 19 of 36 passes for a career-high 283 yards and two touchdown passes. Smith completed a career-long 55-yard pass to King.
• Senior wide receiver Matt Roark recorded seven catches for 116 yards, marking back-to-back games of 100 yards receiving. Roark is the first UK player to post back-to-back 100-plus receiving yard games since Randall Cobb had 171 yards against Mississippi State and followed that with 101 yards the next week against Charleston Southern.
• Junior tailback Coshik Williams rushed the ball a career-high 25 times for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Williams now has two 100-yard rushing games this season. He was the last Wildcat to rush for 100 yards, when he totaled 148 against Jacksonville State two weeks ago.
• UK senior La’Rod Kinig caught three passes for 102 yards, a career high in receiving yards and his second 100-yard game of the season. King now has seven touchdown receptions this season, which leads Kentucky.
• King now has 1,134 career receiving yards and moved past Derek Homer for 21st place on the UK career receiving yardage list.
• Kentucky had two players earn 100-plus yards receiving in the game for the first time since Randall Cobb and Derrick Locke each had 108 yards receiving against Ole Miss last season on Oct. 2.
• Junior Gene McCaskill ended the game with three catches for 25 yards, including his first career touchdown reception.
• Senior LB Danny Trevathan, who ranks first in the SEC in tackles, tied a career-high with 17 tackles in the game. Trevathan has double-digit tackles in 16 of the last 18 games, dating back to last season.
• Trevathan’s 17-tackle performance moves him up to a tie for 14th on Kentucky’s all-time tackle list with Larry Smith (1983-86). Trevathan needs six tackles to tie Darryl Bishop (1971-73) for 13th all time.
• Trevathan earned an interception in the game, marking the third consecutive game he has recorded a pick. He becomes the first player to notch picks in three consecutive games since Tremayne Martin had an interception in the first three games of the 1997 season.
• Senior hybrid Winston Guy recorded 10 tackles in the game for his seventh game this season of double figures tackles and his 11 career double figure tackle game.
• Senior punter Ryan Tydlacka punted six times for an average of 41.8 yards per punt, pinning Ole Miss within its 20-yard line twice.
• Junior placekicker Craig McIntosh made a season-long 48-yard field goal.
