Tennessee owns a 15-2 overall clip and a flawless 8-0 record in league action. This marks the third consecutive season the two squads will square off before a live national television audience.

“We are looking forward to the match on Wednesday,” UK coach Craig Skinnersaid. “Tennessee is in the seat to this point that the rest of the SEC wants to be in. We will need to play well in order to be successful.”

“This match will be great for the volleyball community in this part of the country,” Skinner said. “The sport is becoming really popular around here, and this match will showcase college volleyball at its best.”

The Wildcats also lead the league in aces per set and top the conference with 2.48 blocks per set. The Wildcats have charted 10 or more blocks in 10 matches this season.

Kentucky leads the all-time series by a 40-28 mark, however the Lady Vols have captured five straight in the series.
