LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky volleyball team kicks off a three-match home stand Friday night with Ole Miss visiting Memorial Coliseum. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. ET.

Kentucky (14-3, 5-1 Southeastern Conference) endured a four-match road swing and will now settle into the friendly confines of Memorial Coliseum for three matches in six days. The Wildcats are 9-1 this season inside of Memorial and own an all-time 83-20 mark at home under the direction of Craig Skinner.
The Wildcats have captured victories in 12 of its last 13 matches, including a 3-0 sweep of the SEC Western Division leaders in LSU in their last time out. Freshman Lauren O’Conner led the way offensively with a match-high 13 kills on a career-best .545 hitting percentage. Junior Ashley Frazierhas topped 10 or more kills in three consecutive matches, including 18 in a win at Arkansas.
Junior setter Christine Hartmanncontinues to guide the UK offense in tremendous fashion. Hartmann is passing out 11.10 assists per set which ranks among the top-25 in the country. Six players average between 2.02 and 2.93 kills per set, while the team charts a league-leading 14.30 hammers per frame. Five different players have led the team in kills in a match this season.
Senior Becky Pavanhas found her groove as of late, posting 3.00 kills per set on a team-high .406 hitting clip against conference foes. She is also recording at least one block per set.
Ole Miss enters the weekend with a 5-9 overall record and a 1-5 mark in league play. The Rebels are paced by All-SEC player Regina Thomas who strikes for 2.25 kills per set and leads the SEC with 1.22 blocks per stanza. Allegra Wells leads the offensive output with 2.62 kills per set as the Rebels post 11.78 as a unit.
Kentucky claims a 32-12 overall record against Ole Miss, including a 6-5 record in the Skinner era. The squads split their meetings a season ago with both road teams earning wins.
UK’s next home match is set for Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1:30 p.m. ET. The match with Alabama is the official `Dig for the Cure’ match. There will be $1 admission for fans wearing pinks. The Wildcats will don `Dig for the Cure’ t-shirts during warm-ups and will be available for sale for $10 with proceeds benefiting breast cancer research, treatment and education at the Markey Cancer Center. Donations will also be accepted.
Kentucky’s Memorial Coliseum will play host to the NCAA Regionals Dec. 9-10. UK is one of four sites selected for Sweet 16 and Elite Eight matchups with one team advancing to the Final Four in San Antonio, Texas, from the Lexington Region. Opening night matches are scheduled for 5 and 7 p.m. ET. Saturday’s finals is set for a 4:30 p.m. ET first serve.
Tickets are now on sale through the UK Ticket Office. All-Session Tickets are reserved for all ages at $14. General Admission tickets for adults are priced at $12 and students or seniors’ general admission is slated for $8.
Single session tickets are priced at $8 for reserved for all ages. General admission for adults is priced at $7, with students and seniors priced at $5. Youth single session tickets are $4.
