COLUMBIA, S.C. — Fresh off a thrilling overtime win over High Point on Friday night, No. 29 Kentucky wraps up its weekend at the 2011 Gamecock Classic, facing No. 15 Brown on Sunday with kickoff set for 11 a.m. ET at Stone Stadium.

Kentucky (5-2-1) posted a 2-1 overtime win over a highly-competitive High Point club on Friday night, with the Panthers coming off a 16-win season a year ago. UK got an early goal off a corner kick from Tyler Riggs to take a 1-0 lead just 57 seconds into the game, the second-fastest goal in UK soccer annals. After High Point posted a game-tying goal in the second half, UK needed just under two minutes to walk off with the win behind Matt Lodge’s golden goal.

Brown (4-1-0) will present a challenging task for the Wildcats, as the Bears are coming off a 2-0 win over South Carolina on Friday night. The Bears have been led offensively by T.J. Popolizio, who owns five goals and one assist through the first five games of the year. Sean Rosa has added two goals and one assist, while Dylan Remick has totaled three assists to lead the team. In goal, Alex Car has saved six shots in four starts, posting a 0.50 goals-against average.

The Wildcats have been paced offensively by Riggs and Lodge, with Riggs totaling six goals and four assists and Lodge notching six goals and three assists. Charles Pettys leads the team with five assists and one goal, while UK has gotten two assists each from C.J. Tappel, Josh Mulvany and Dylan Asher.  In goal, sophomore Tyler Beadle has made six of the eight starts, posting a 1.49 goals-against average with 18 saves, including a stellar outing against High Point on Friday. Backup keeper Jack Van Arsdale owns a 2.00 goals-against average in his two starts filling in for Beadle.
