LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team kicks off its 2011 fall season at the Texas A&M “Mo”Morial on Sept. 11-13. Hosted by Texas A&M, the “Mo”Morial will be played in Bryan, Texas at the Traditions Golf Club. The 6,260-yard, par-72 course will be a tough challenge that senior Ashlee Rose says the Cats are looking forward to face.
“NCAA Nationals was held at Texas A&M last year so it will be interesting to see how we can perform keeping that in mind,” said Rose, the lone senior.
The 54-hole, stroke-play tournament will kick off with the first round Sunday, Sept. 11, at 8 a.m. The second round will begin Monday at 8 a.m. followed by the third and final shotgun round Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. All times are Eastern.
